The MWA Day of Fellowship is a local recovery community gathering taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the MWA facility located at 835 East 33rd Street in Signal Hill, California. Jointly presented by three recovery groups—100% High on Life, Repeat Offender, and Recovery Rocks—the day-long event is designed to foster connection, mutual support, and celebration among members of the recovery community through a balanced blend of structured discussion, shared meals, entertainment, and tradition.
The day begins in the morning with a welcoming hospitality hour from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, offering attendees fresh bagels and coffee to settle in and catch up with peers. Shortly after, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, the focus shifts to a Participation Meeting, providing an open, structured space for attendees to share their personal stories, experiences, and messages of hope.
Following the morning meeting, the event transitions into a relaxed social gathering with a community BBQ starting at 12:00 PM (Noon). This midday break gives participants a chance to enjoy food together and build camaraderie in an informal setting.
In the afternoon, the energy shifts to live entertainment from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, featuring a performance by a five-member musical group pictured on the event banner. The festivities culminate at 3:10 PM with two traditional highlights: a Recovery Countdown, which honors and celebrates varying lengths of sobriety among those present, and a 50/50 Raffle.
